Nearly two years ago, I wrote about actress Ruth Gemmell and her appearances in television shows as a policewoman, every time at a different rank. Yesterday we were watching 'Casualty' (series 29, episode 10, 'Deadfall') when up pops a detective sergeant who looks extremely familiar! The credits demoted her to detective constable.
Looking at Ruth's credits at IMDB, I see that she has appeared in several other police related television programmes. Maybe this is typecasting?
